We are a busy, friendly Preschool based in the popular village of Blofield, operating at the Margaret Harker Hall. We are Ofsted registered and operate as a charity, being run by qualified staff and a committee of volunteers.
Our mission
Blofield Preschool believes that children flourish best when their personal, social and emotional needs are met. We aim to provide an inclusive, stimulating range of experiences and activities for the children to make sense of their world and become valued members of their community.
We work in partnership with parents/ carers to effectively meet the needs of each individual child in our care and to ensure they feel happy, valued and secure in our setting.
We work within the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework to plan and provide quality, developmentally appropriate activities and learning opportunities.
Our children
Our Preschool welcomes children from age 2.5 years to school age.
We can accept a maximum of 30 children per session.
Our facilities
The Hall
We have the use of the whole hall which is set up into a variety of areas, such as construction, role play, creative, literacy, problem solving, carpet area for reading and group time, and a relaxing, soft furnished area for the children to enjoy.

Outdoor Play
The outside play area is fenced off and is completely secure, allowing children the opportunity to play with our wide range of outdoor toys including balance bikes, sandpits, slides, see-saws, balls, hoops and cars. We also have exclusive access to the play park at the hall for an hour in the morning and an hour in the afternoon, which we take small groups of children to.
