This week we have looked at beaches, maps and treasure hunts.
We have made our own treasure maps, dug deep in the sand for gold coins. Explored seashells and sea creatures and pirate Cathy made the children walk the plank .

This week we have kept cool with lots of water play 💦
The children have engaged in lots of hands on sensory activities ,scooping, pouring, and manipulating to build the finger strength and pincer grasp essential for holding a pencil and writing.
We have created butterfly’s 🦋and caterpillars🐛 ,and explored frog’s spawn 🐸 we have also explored Handas Suprise with lots of tropical fruits 🍉🍍🥭 and bright coloured fabrics.

Thank you to our lovely parents for your understanding today, we really appreciated the early finish (as did the children!) The hall and outdoor area were very hot, despite our best efforts at trying to stay cool!🥵 We hope you all have a lovely weekend 😎
