This week we have looked at transitions and school life.
We have had lots of school role play. Playing "school" gives preschoolers a safe space to process emotions and ease transition anxieties about moving to "big school".
We have also had lots of water play, Providing sensory regulation water play calms the nervous system through the repetitive, soothing textures and sounds of moving water. It’s also kept us cool 😎
